Ecology and sustainable development
The Domaine des Escaunes has always been sensitive to the protection of the environment. Solar panels power a group of rooms, a boiler with condensation for hot water and central heating, heat pumps for our reversible air conditioning, we practice the selective sorting of our waste, pressure reducers have been installed in our bathrooms.
Restaurant guests are encouraged to order filtered water from recycled glass bottles and much less transportation (no more bottle deliveries). The welcome products made available to our customers are certified “organic” and the chef favors short supply chains by sourcing from small local producers.
